The Bike Share Program
Members of the North Georgia Sustainability Task Force are the earth-conscious minds behind the Bike Share Program with help from associate professor of biology, Dr. Nancy Dalman. Although the campus isn’t letting real animals stalk students, it is revealing a series of wildlife patterned bicycles for campus use courtesy of the Kona Bicycle Company. According to Dalman, this will be the third year the Task Force members, formed with the help of NGCSU staff, faculty and students, are spreading awareness on how everyone can make themselves a little more eco-friendly. Last spring the members became an official organization and put on the first “Green Fest,” a venue for local organizations doing environmental tasks.
