If it is small or average for his age, he will need a 12 "bike. If on the long side maybe a 16". Both are normally with training wheels. The best thing is to head over to Wal Mart, Target, etc. Toy r us and see how they fit.

The cradles only fit the regular size tubing or slightly larger of bike frame. We went over 600 miles one way through NY City and was no problem for the bike rack. I put the rack on the back of a 36′ 5th wheel camper, it tends to get a lot of bounce with 5 bikes. Love the bike rack. Bike rack works very well with some modifications....
