Mom's Talk Q&A: Promoting Safe Biking
We live in a neighborhood where kids ride freely Where many kids ride freely without parents. I also have an almost 4-year-old which makes it hard because I need to have the bike trailer hooked up in order to take her with us if my husband isn’t home. She does love to ride along in the trailer, but it makes my job much harder especially in my VERY hilly neighborhood. My kids have recently mastered bike riding and they LOVE to ride. I would not recommend a back-mounted child seat on a bicycle, because I think it puts the weight up too high and makes the bike more unstable....
