Best bike for commuting college woman folding vs utility?

I want a bike to class travel and places around the city. The college is in the middle of downtown.

I was thinking about a folding bike, but I do not want one that looks super abnormal.

Montague bikes regularly conducts research that fold. I suggest you Crosstown their new model because it is designed with travel in mind. Crosstown has the skinny tires so it takes less pedal effort.
